This years National Wedding Show in February at the Olympia in London was of course a huge success, and we were lucky enough to grab a ticket! We decided not to exhibit at the February showcase but we did send our team member Steph along to do some blogging! Despite arriving an hour too early, the que was busy and the show was even busier! See below some fab pictures from the day and the top highlights…
National Wedding Show 2017 Exhibitors
This years National Wedding Show was home to over 300 exhibitors, all of which are the best in their industry! The ‘Rock n Roll’ section is ever growing with new alternative wedding businesses and is a real treat for the eyes! Of course Kat herself from Rock n Roll Bride was there alongside her partner Gareth. They were accompanied by the wonderful Crown and Glory – bespoke and alternative headwear for brides!
This year we also had the very exciting launch of the new Ted Baker bridal line! Sheek silhouettes, intricate beading and all with the marvellous Ted Baker shopping experience.
The Grooms Room
Februarys National Wedding Show also saw host to the updated and fun Grooms Room area, in collaboration with Cad & The Dandy! A relaxed area for the grooms to escape the bridal chaos, there was even a ping pong table. Of course they can try on different suits, shoes and even aftershaves!
This years catwalk show saw both designers and boutiques alike styling their fabulous 2017 collections.Revlon wre the main sponsors of this years catwalk and even had a fabulous make over area at the show! We saw stunning bridal designs from Berketex Bride, Allure Bridal and Maids to Measure. The catwalk at each and every National Wedding Show is a must see event, with top tips and isnpiration for every bridal party member.
The Best Bits
Here I have chosen a few of my favourite bits from this show for you:
The Rock n Roll Bride collection – bringing yet more and more alternative bridal options to the show is just wonderful!
The DIY Creative Classes – gaining top tips and tutorials from the best in the biz on how to DIY your wedding day!
The Champagne Bar, because, well, champagne! We may not have had any (boooo!) but it did look fabulous!
The Goodie Bags; the VIP ones were amazing with heaps of beauty products, while the normal still had some yummy treats and lots of good bridal info
Ivy Ellen may not have been at this show but we will definitely be exhibiting at the National Wedding Show in September of this year so don’t forget to come see us!
